Initial Card State

Steps

  1. Cast Rot Hulk by paying five generic manaone black manaone black mana.
  2. When Rot Hulk enters the battlefield, it and Dual Nature trigger.
  3. Holding priority, activate Thermopod's second ability by sacrificing Rot Hulk, adding one red mana.
  4. Dual Nature's second ability triggers, exiling all tokens named Rot Hulk.
  5. Resolve the Rot Hulk trigger from step 2, failing to return anything to the battlefield.
  6. Resolve the Dual Nature trigger from step 2, creating a token copy of Rot Hulk.
  7. When the token copy of Rot Hulk enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Rot Hulk from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  8. Repeat from step 2.

Results

  1. Infinite death triggers.
