Steps

  1. Activate Pili-Pala by tapping it, creating a 1/1 Elf Warrior creature token.
  2. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Elf Warrior, adding ({C} magic symbol)  ({C} magic symbol)  .
  3. Activate Pili-Pala by paying ({2} magic symbol)   and untapping it, adding one mana of any color.
  4. Repeat.
  5. Once you have infinite mana, you may forego sacrificing the Elf Warriors.
