Steps

  1. Cast Wildwood Scourge by paying one green mana plus an additional amount of mana equal to Jackal's power minus one generic mana.
  2. Jackal triggers, copying the Wildwood Scourge spell and putting a +1/+1 counter on Jackal.
  3. Resolve both Wildwood Scourge spells.
  4. Cast Ego Erasure by paying two generic manaone blue mana, targeting yourself.
  5. Put a +1/+1 counter on either Wildwood Scourge.
  6. The other Wildwood Scourge triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
  7. Repeat step 6 infinitely.

Results

  1. Infinite +1/+1 counters on a creature.
  2. Infinite +1/+1 counters on a creature token.
