Steps
- Activate Ghave's first ability by paying ({1} magic symbol) and removing a +1/+1 counter from a creature you control, creating a 1/1 Saproling creature token.
- When the Saproling enters the battlefield, Tribute to the World Tree triggers, putting two +1/+1 counters on the Saproling.
- Activate Ghave's first ability by paying ({1} magic symbol) and removing a +1/+1 counter from a creature you control.
- Holding priority, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Saproling, adding ({C} magic symbol) ({C} magic symbol) .
- Resolve the Ghave ability, creating a 1/1 Saproling creature token.
- Repeat from step 2.
- Once you have infinite mana, you may forego sacrificing the Saproling tokens, and you may either use the remaining +1/+1 counters for Ghave's first ability and/or sacrifice the Saprolings to Ghave's second ability.
