Initial Card State

Steps

  3. Resolve the Woe Strider ability.
  4. Activate Woe Strider by sacrificing Junji.
  5. When Junji dies, it and Syr Vondam trigger.
  6. Resolve the Syr Vondam trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on it and causing you to gain 1 life.
  7. Resolve the Junji trigger, returning Karmic Guide from your graveyard to the battlefield and causing you to lose 2 life.
  8. When Karmic Guide enters, it triggers, returning Junji from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  9. Resolve the Woe Strider ability.
  10. Repeat.
