Initial Card State

Steps

  1. Activate Recurring Nightmare by sacrificing a creature and returning it from the battlefield to your hand, returning Hornet Queen from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  2. When Hornet Queen enters the battlefield, it triggers, creating four 1/1 Insect creature tokens.
  3. Activate Phyrexian Altar three times by sacrificing Hornet Queen and two Insects, adding two generic manaone black mana.
  4. Cast Recurring Nightmare by paying two generic manaone black mana.
  5. Repeat.
