Initial Card State

Notable Prerequisites

  1. Verdant Eidolon does not have a +1/+1 counter on it.
  2. You control at least one additional nontoken creature.

Mana Needed

Steps

  1. Activate Verdant Eidolon by paying one green mana and sacrificing it, adding one green manaone green manaone green mana if you have two or more one black mana available, or one black manaone black manaone black mana otherwise.
  2. Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing Archaeomancer and another nontoken creature, adding one colorless manaone colorless manaone colorless manaone colorless mana.
  3. Cast Living Death by paying three generic manaone black manaone black mana, causing each player to exile all creature cards in their graveyards, sacrifice all creatures they control, then put all cards exiled this way onto the battlefield.
  4. When Archaeomancer enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Living Death to your hand from your graveyard.
  5. Repeat.
