Initial Card State

Steps

  1. At the beginning of your precombat main phase, There and Back Again triggers, putting a lore counter on it.
  2. There and Back Again's third chapter ability triggers, creating a legendary 6/6 Smaug creature token and causing you to sacrifice There and Back Again.
  3. Activate Romana II by paying ({1} magic symbol)   and tapping it, creating a token copy of Smaug with haste.
  4. Put either Smaug token into your graveyard due to the legend rule.
  5. When the Smaug token dies, it triggers, creating fourteen Treasure tokens.
  6. Activate five Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding ({5} magic symbol)  .
  7. Activate Staff of Domination's third ability by paying ({3} magic symbol)  , untapping Romana II.
  8. Activate Staff of Domination's first ability by paying ({1} magic symbol)  , untapping it.
  9. Repeat from step 3.
