Steps
- Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificingMistmoon Griffin.
- Mistmoon Griffin dies, triggering itself andHofri Ghostforge.
- Resolve the Hofri Ghostforge trigger, exilingMistmoon Griffin from your graveyard and creating a token copy ofMistmoon Griffin that has "When this creature leaves the battlefield, return the exiled card to your graveyard".
- Resolve the Mistmoon Griffin trigger, returning nothing from your graveyard to the battlefield.
- Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability from step 1, causing target player to mill cards equal toMistmoon Griffin's power.
- Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing theMistmoon Griffin token.
- The Mistmoon Griffin token dies, triggering itself twice.
- Resolve the Mistmoon Griffin token's trigger granted byHofri Ghostforge, returningMistmoon Griffin from exile to your graveyard.
- Resolve the other Mistmoon Griffin trigger, returningMistmoon Griffin from your graveyard to the battlefield.
