Steps

  1. Activate the creature with

  2. The Elemental(s) enter the battlefield and die as a state-based action due to having 0 toughness.
  3. When the Elemental(s) die, the creature with
    Thornbite Staff
    Thornbite Staff     attached triggers that many times, untapping itself.
  4. Repeat.
