Notable Prerequisites

  1. You have cast your commander from the command zone enough times to cast the creature with MV>=4 for its blitz cost by paying zero mana.

Steps

  1. Cast the creature with MV>=4 for its blitz cost by paying zero mana.
  2. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the creature, adding one mana of any color.
  3. When the creature dies, it and Mortuary trigger.
  4. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting it from your graveyard on top of your library.
  5. Resolve the creature's trigger, causing you to draw it from the top of your library.
  6. Repeat.

Notes

  1. You can use a creature that has at most one colored mana symbol in its mana cost - although the combo will not produce colored mana, and you will need the colored mana to start.
