- Activate Tayam by paying ({3} magic symbol) , removing a +1/+1 counter fromMortician Beetle and removing both counters fromButcher Ghoul.
- Holding priority, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificingButcher Ghoul, adding ({C} magic symbol) ({C} magic symbol) .
- Butcher Ghoul's undying ability andMortician Beetle trigger.
- Resolve the Butcher Ghoul trigger, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 and a vigilance counter.
- Resolve the Mortician Beetle trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
