Initial Card State

  1.  Ghostly Flicker in hand.
  2.  Mindsplice Apparatus and Scholar of the Ages on the battlefield.

Notable Prerequisites

  1. Mindsplice Apparatus has at least two oil counters on it.
  2. You control a permanent that enters the battlefield untapped and can tap to produce at least ({U} magic symbol)  .

Steps

  1. Activate a mana-producing permanent by tapping it, adding ({U} magic symbol)  .
  2. Cast Ghostly Flicker by paying ({U} magic symbol)  , blinking Scholar of the Ages and the mana-producing permanent.
  3. When Scholar of the Ages enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Ghostly Flicker and up to one other instant or sorcery to your hand from your graveyard.
  4. Repeat.
