Initial Card State

  1.   Sin in hand or in the command zone.
  2.  All other permanents on the battlefield (Thornbite Staff attached to Kami of Whispered Hopes and Kami of Whispered Hopes without summoning sickness).
  3.  Sin must be your commander.

Steps

  1. Cast Sin either from your hand or command zone by paying ({5} magic symbol)  ({G} magic symbol)  ({U} magic symbol)   plus commander tax if applicable.
  2. As Sin enters, remove all counters from all artifacts, enchantments and creatures you control, putting twice that many +1/+1 counters plus one due to Kami of Whispered Hopes on Sin.
  3. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Sin, adding ({GU} magic symbol)  .
  4. Choose to return Sin to the command zone from your graveyard.
  5. When Sin dies, it and Kami of Whispered Hopes trigger.
  6. When Sin dies, it triggers, putting its counters plus an additional +1/+1 counter on Kami of Whispered Hopes.
  7. Resolve the Kami of Whispered Hopes trigger, untapping it.
  8. Activate Kami of Whispered Hopes by tapping it, adding an amount of ({G} magic symbol)   or ({U} magic symbol)   equal to its power.
  9. Repeat.
