Prerequisites

  1.  All permanents on the battlefield.
  2. Xenograft
    Xenograft     on the battlefield with "Rat" chosen.
  3. ({3} magic symbol)  ({B} magic symbol)   plus enough mana to pay for commander tax, if applicable available.

Steps

  1. Cast
    Wick, the Whorled Mind
    Wick     either from your hand or from the command zone by paying ({3} magic symbol)  ({B} magic symbol)   plus commander tax, if applicable.
  2. When
    Wick, the Whorled Mind
    Wick     enters the battlefield, it triggers.
  3. Holding priority, if you control a Snail, activate
    Phyrexian Altar
    Phyrexian Altar     by sacrificing the Snail, adding one mana of any color.
  4. If needed, repeat step 3 until you do not control a Snail.
  5. Resolve the
    Wick, the Whorled Mind
    Wick     trigger, creating a 1/1 Snail creature token.
  6. When the Snail enters the battlefield as a Rat due to
    Xenograft
    Xenograft    ,
    Wick, the Whorled Mind
    Wick     triggers.
  7. Repeat from step 3.

Notes

  1. If you have mana available, you may instead sacrifice the Snail to
    Wick, the Whorled Mind
    Wick    's ability.
