Steps

  1. Activate
    Wildwood Mentor
    Wildwood Mentor     using
    Marath, Will of the Wild
    Marath    's ability by paying ({1} magic symbol)   and removing a +1/+1 counter from it, creating a 1/1 Elemental creature token.
  2. When the Elemental enters the battlefield,
    Wildwood Mentor
    Wildwood Mentor    's first ability triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on itself.
  3. Activate
    Ashnod's Altar
    Ashnod's Altar     by sacrificing the Elemental, adding ({C} magic symbol)  ({C} magic symbol)  .
  4. Repeat.
  5. Once you have infinite mana, you may forego sacrificing the Elementals.
