Initial Card State

  1.  Gleaming Overseer in hand.
  2.  Wall of Roots in exile (exiled with Agatha's Soul Cauldron).
  3.  All other permanents on the battlefield.

Mana Needed

  1. three generic manaone blue manaone black mana available.

Steps

  1. Cast Gleaming Overseer by paying its mana cost; it enters with a vigilance counter due to Tayam.
  2. When Gleaming Overseer enters, it triggers, creating a 0/0 creature token with a +1/+1 counter on it as well as a vigilance counter due to Tayam.
  3. Declare that you are activating Tayam's ability, so state-based actions will not be checked until the ability is activated.
  4. While paying that ability's cost, activate the creature token using the Wall of Roots mana ability from Agatha's Soul Cauldron by putting a -0/-1 counter on it, adding one green mana.
  5. Complete the activation by paying three generic mana and removing a vigilance counter from each of the two creatures and a -0/-1 counter from the Army token.
  6. Holding priority, activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing Gleaming Overseer and the creature token, adding one colorless manaone colorless manaone colorless manaone colorless mana.
  7. Resolve Tayam's ability, milling three and returning Gleaming Overseer from your graveyard to the battlefield with a vigilance counter on it.
  8. Repeat from step 2.

Notes

  1. This order of operations (and the additional two generic mana starting mana) are necessary because you must activate mana abilities before paying costs, and so you cannot use Ashnod's Altar to get mana from the creature you need to remove counters from.
