Initial Card State

  1.  All permanents on the battlefield (Persist Creature without a -1/-1 counter on it).

Steps

  1. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing the Persist Creature.
  2. When the Persist Creature dies, its persist ability and Gorma trigger.
  3. Resolve the Gorma trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
  4. Resolve the persist trigger, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with at least one +1/+1 counter on it due to Gorma.
  5. Remove a +1/+1 and a -1/-1 counter from that creature as a state-based action.
  6. Resolve the Umbral Collar Zealot ability.
  7. Repeat.

Notes

  1. Each loop, Gorma will place an additional +1/+1 counter on the Persist Creature compared to the previous loop. This'll eventually result in both the Persist Creature and Gorma having infinite +1/+1 counters on them.
