Initial Card State

  1.  All permanents on the battlefield (Eirdu as Isilu, Carrier of Twilight and Hancock without a +1/+1 counter on it).

Steps

  1. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing Hancock.
  2. When Hancock dies, its undying ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it.
  3. Resolve the Phantom Train ability.
  4. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing Hancock.
  5. When Hancock dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
  6. Hancock enters and dies as a state-based action due to having 0 toughness. Its undying ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it.
  7. Resolve the Phantom Train ability from step 4.
  8. Repeat from step 4.

Notes

  1. If Hancock starts with a +1/+1 counter on it, then you may start the combo from step 4 instead.
