Initial Card State

Steps

  1. Activate Catalyst Elemental by sacrificing it, adding one red manaone red mana.
  2. When Catalyst Elemental dies, Ashling and Enduring Renewal trigger.
  3. Resolve the Ashling trigger, creating a token copy of Catalyst Elemental with haste.
  4. Resolve the Enduring Renewal trigger, returning Catalyst Elemental from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  5. Activate the Catalyst Elemental token by sacrificing it, adding one red manaone red mana.
  6. Cast Catalyst Elemental by paying two generic manaone red mana.
  7. Repeat.
