Initial Card State

Steps

  1. Cast Goldvein Hydra by paying ({1} magic symbol)  ({G} magic symbol)  .
  2. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Goldvein Hydra, adding ({C} magic symbol)  ({C} magic symbol)  .
  3. When Goldvein Hydra dies, it and Enduring Renewal trigger.
  4. Resolve the Enduring Renewal trigger, returning Goldvein Hydra from your graveyard to your hand.
  5. Resolve the Goldvein Hydra trigger, creating a tapped Treasure token.
  6. When the token enters the battlefield, Amulet of Vigor triggers, untapping it.
  7. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding ({G} magic symbol)  .
  8. Repeat.

Notes

  1. Once you have infinite colorless mana, you may cast Goldvein Hydra with X equaling an arbitrarily large number, and then kill it to get infinite tapped Treasure tokens.
