Initial Card State

Notable Prerequisites

Steps

  1. Activate Shilgengar by sacrificing Captain Kathryn Janeway.
  2. When Captain Kathryn Janeway dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
  3. When Captain Kathryn Janeway enters, it triggers, revealing the top card of your library, putting the card back on top of your library, and then putting a +1/+1 counter on Captain Kathryn Janeway.
  4. Resolve the Shilgengar ability.
  5. Repeat.
