Initial Card State

  1.  All permanents on the battlefield (Eirdu as Isilu, Carrier of Twilight and Reyhan without a -1/-1 counter on it).

Steps

  1. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Reyhan.
  2. When Reyhan dies, its persist ability and innate ability trigger.
  3. Resolve the persist trigger, returning Reyhan from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to its replacement effect.
  4. Resolve the innate trigger, putting a number of +1/+1 counters on a creature.
  5. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability.
  6. Repeat.
