Initial Card State

Steps

  4. Activate Shilgengar by sacrificing Junji.
  5. When Junji dies, it and Susurian Voidborn trigger.
  6. Resolve the Susurian Voidborn trigger, causing you to gain 1 life and target opponent to lose 1 life.
  7. Resolve the Junji trigger, returning Metamorphosis Fanatic from your graveyard to the battlefield and causing you to lose 2 life.
  8. When Metamorphosis Fanatic enters, it triggers, returning Junji from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  9. Resolve the Shilgengar ability.
  10. Repeat.
