  1. Cast Cabal Ritual by paying one generic manaone black mana, adding one black manaone black manaone black manaone black manaone black mana.
  2. Cast Saw in Half by paying two generic manaone black mana, destroying Scholar of the Ages and creating two token copies of it with base power equal to half the destroyed creature's power and base toughness equal to half the destroyed creature's toughness, rounding up each time.
  3. When the Scholar of the Ages tokens enter, they each trigger, returning Cabal Ritual and Saw in Half from your graveyard to your hand.
  4. Repeat.
