Initial Card State

Notable Prerequisites

Steps

  1. Activate Strong using Deathbringer Thoctar's ability by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, dealing 1 damage to Strong.
  2. Strong triggers, putting three +1/+1 counters on it and causing you to get three rad counters.
  3. Repeat an arbitrarily large number of times.
  4. Activate Strong using Deathbringer Thoctar's ability by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, dealing 1 damage to any target.
  5. Repeat step 4 as desired.

Notes

  1. This combo typically wins with infinite damage, but if the game isn't over by your next precombat main phase, your rad counters will trigger, causing you to mill any number of cards and gain a large amount of life (or lose that amount if Strong has left the battlefield).

Results

  1. Infinite +1/+1 counters on Strong.
  2. Infinite damage.
  3. Infinite self-mill on your next turn.
  4. Near-infinite lifegain on your next turn.
