Initial Card State

  1.  All permanents on the battlefield (Derevi without a -1/-1 counter on it and Aerith Gainsborough with a +1/+1 counter on it).

Steps

  1. Activate Cauldron of Souls by tapping it, giving Derevi and Aerith persist until end of turn.
  2. Activate Blasting Station by tapping it and sacrificing Derevi.
  3. When Derevi dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
  4. When Derevi enters the battlefield, it and Blasting Station trigger, untapping Cauldron of Souls and Blasting Station.
  5. Activate Blasting Station by tapping it and sacrificing Aerith.
  6. When Aerith dies, it triggers twice.
  7. Resolve Aerith's persist trigger, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
  8. When Aerith enters the battlefield, Blasting Station triggers, untapping Blasting Station.
  9. Resolve the second Aerith trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on each legendary creature you control, thus removing the -1/-1 counters from Aerith and Derevi.
  10. Resolve the Blasting Station abilities from steps 2 and 5.
  11. Repeat.

Notes

  1. The combo does not put +1/+1 counters on Derevi or Aerith, but does on any other legendary creature(s) you control.

  3. Infinite sacrifice triggers.
  4. Infinite death triggers.
  5. Infinite damage.
