Initial Card State

  1.  The Master and Spawning Pit on the battlefield (The Master as a copy of the creature with persist or the creature with undying).
  2.  Persist Creature and Undying Creature in exile (with a takeover counter on it).

Steps

  1. Activate Spawning Pit by sacrificing The Master.
  2. When The Master dies, if it was a copy of the Undying Creature, its undying ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of the Persist Creature with a +1/+1 counter on it.
  3. Otherwise, if The Master was a copy of the Persist Creature, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of the Undying Creature with a -1/-1 counter on it.
  4. Resolve the Spawning Pit ability.
  5. Repeat.

  1. Infinite charge counters on a permanent.
  2. Infinite creature ETB.
  3. Infinite creature LTB.
