Initial Card State

Notable Prerequisites

  1. You control at least four other Elves that do not have summoning sickness.

Steps

  1. Activate at least four Elves other than Thranduil by tapping them, adding at least four in any combination of ({G} magic symbol)   and/or ({U} magic symbol)  .
  2. Activate Spawning Pit by sacrificing Thranduil.
  3. When Thranduil dies, Nim Deathmantle and Faces of the Past trigger.
  4. Resolve the Nim Deathmantle trigger, causing you to pay ({4} magic symbol)   to return Thranduil from your graveyard to the battlefield and attach Nim Deathmantle to it.
  5. Resolve the Faces of the Past trigger, untapping all Elves and Nobles.
  6. Resolve the Spawning Pit ability.
  7. Repeat.
