Initial Card State

Steps

  1. Cast Spine of Ish Sah by paying ({0} magic symbol)   due to Sami.
  2. When Spine of Ish Sah enters, its first ability and Grinding Station trigger, with Spine of Ish Sah targeting either a permanent an opponent controls or itself if an opponent doesn't control a targetable permanent.
  3. Resolve the Grinding Station trigger, untapping it.
  4. Holding priority, activate Grinding Station by tapping it and sacrificing Spine of Ish Sah.
  5. If you targeted Spine of Ish Sah in step 2, the ability will fizzle due to having no legal target.
  6. Spine of Ish Sah's second ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to your hand.
  7. Resolve the Grinding Station ability from step 4.
  8. Resolve the Spine of Ish Sah trigger from step 2, if applicable.
  9. Repeat from step 1.

Results

  1. Infinite mill.
  2. Infinite self-mill.
  3. Infinite storm count.
