Steps

  1. Activate Ghave's first ability by paying one generic mana and removing a +1/+1 counter from it, creating a 1/1 Saproling creature token.
  2. The Saproling enters the battlefield, triggering Soul Warden and Carnival of Souls twice.
  3. Resolve both Soul Warden triggers, causing you to gain two life.
  4. Resolve both Carnival of Souls triggers, causing you to add one black manaone black mana and lose 2 life.
  5. Activate Ghave's second ability by paying one generic mana and sacrificing the Saproling token, putting a +1/+1 counter on Ghave.
  6. Repeat.
