Initial Card State

  1.  All permanents on the battlefield.

Steps

  1. Activate Sensei's Divining Top's second ability by tapping it, causing you to draw a card and put Sensei's Divining Top on top of your library from the battlefield.
  2. If the persist or undying creature does not have a -1/-1 or +1/+1 counter on it, activate Thermopod by sacrificing the creature, adding ({R} magic symbol)  .
  3. When the creature dies, its persist or undying ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with either a -1/-1 or +1/+1 counter on it.
  4. Cast Sensei's Divining Top from the top of your library by paying ({1} magic symbol)   and removing the +1/+1 or -1/-1 counter from the persist or undying creature.
  5. Repeat.
