Initial Card State

  1.  All permanents on the battlefield.

Steps

  1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Golgari Thug, adding ({1} magic symbol)  .
  2. When Golgari Thug dies, it, Pitiless Plunderer and Korvold's second ability trigger.
  3. Resolve the Golgari Thug trigger, putting it on top of your library from your graveyard.
  4. Resolve the Pitiless Plunderer trigger, creating a Treasure token.
  5. Resolve the Korvold trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on it and causing you to draw Golgari Thug from the top of your library.
  6. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding ({B} magic symbol)  .
  7. Cast Golgari Thug by paying ({1} magic symbol)  ({B} magic symbol)  .
  8. Repeat.
  9. If desired, you may instead use Golgari Thug's dredge ability to return it to your hand to mill your library.
