Color Identity: R, W

Cards

  1. Excava, the Risen Past
  2. Solemnity
  3. Breath of Fury
  4. 2x Creature with Haste and MV <= 3

Initial Card State

  1.   2x Creature with Haste and MV <= 3 on the battlefield or in your graveyard.
  2.  All other permanents on the battlefield.

Notable Prerequisites

  1. Breath of Fury attached to another creature you control.
  2. An opponent cannot block creatures you control.

Steps

  1. Declare Excava and the creature with Breath of Fury attached as attackers.
  2. Excava triggers, returning up to one creature with haste and mana value 3 or less from your graveyard to the battlefield. It won't enter with a finality counter on it due to Solemnity.
  3. Deal combat damage using the creature that has Breath of Fury attached.
  4. Breath of Fury triggers, causing you to sacrifice the creature it is attached to, then attach Breath of Fury to a creature with haste and mana value 3 or less, then causing you to untap all creatures you control and to get an additional combat phase after this one.
  5. Repeat each combat phase.

Notes

  1. The creatures with haste and mana value 3 or less can start either on the battlefield, in your graveyard, or a mix of the two. One of them can also have Breath of Fury attached to start. If either of these creatures start on the battlefield, they cannot have a finality counter on them.

Results

  1. Infinite ETB.

  4. Infinite combat phases.
  5. Infinite death triggers.
