Initial Card State

  1.  All permanents on the battlefield (Eirdu as Isilu, Carrier of Twilight and Evernight Shade without a +1/+1 counter on it).

Steps

  1. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing Evernight Shade.
  2. When Evernight Shade dies, its undying ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it.
  3. Resolve the Phantom Train ability.
  4. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing Evernight Shade.
  5. When Evernight Shade dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
  6. Evernight Shade enters and dies as a state-based action due to having 0 toughness. Its undying ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it.
  7. Resolve the Phantom Train ability from step 4.
  8. Repeat from step 4.

Notes

  1. If Evernight Shade starts with a +1/+1 counter on it, then you may start the combo from step 4 instead.

  2. Infinite ETB.
