Steps

  3. Activate Phyrexian Altar twice by sacrificing the creature with Flickering Ward attached and a Soldier token, adding ({W} magic symbol)  ({W} magic symbol)  .
  4. Activate Flickering Ward by paying ({W} magic symbol)  , returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
  5. Repeat.
