Initial Card State

  1.  All permanents on the battlefield (Deathbringer Thoctar with a +1/+1 counter on it and Court of Vantress as a copy of Rite of Passage).

Steps

  1. Activate Deathbringer Thoctar by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, dealing 1 damage to itself.
  2. Rite of Passage and Court of Vantress trigger, putting two +1/+1 counters on Deathbringer Thoctar.
  3. Repeat an arbitrarily large number of times.
  4. Move to the next turn, removing all damage marked on Deathbringer Thoctar.
  5. Activate Deathbringer Thoctar by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, dealing 1 damage to any target.
  6. Repeat step 5 as desired.

Notes

  1. You can also control a Rite of Passage token from Court of Vantress and the combo will work the same.

Results

  1. Infinite damage.
  2. Infinite +1/+1 counters.
