Initial Card State

  1.  All permanents on the battlefield (Eirdu as Isilu, Carrier of Twilight and Butcher Ghoul without a +1/+1 counter on it).

Steps

  1. Activate Bloodflow Connoisseur by sacrificing Butcher Ghoul.
  2. When Butcher Ghoul dies, its undying ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it.
  3. Resolve the Bloodflow Connoisseur ability.
  4. Activate Bloodflow Connoisseur by sacrificing Butcher Ghoul.
  5. When Butcher Ghoul dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
  6. Butcher Ghoul enters and dies as a state-based action due to having 0 toughness. Its undying ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it.
  7. Resolve the Bloodflow Connoisseur ability from step 4.
  8. Repeat from step 4.

Notes

  1. If Butcher Ghoul starts with a +1/+1 counter on it, then you may start the combo from step 4 instead.

  1. Infinite +1/+1 counters on a creature.
  2. Infinite ETB.
