Initial Card State

  1.  Whim of Volrath in hand.
  2.  Chakram Retriever and Leyline Immersion on the battlefield.

Notable Prerequisites

  1. Leyline Immersion attached to a legendary creature you control without summoning sickness.

Steps

  1. Activate the creature with Leyline Immersion attached by tapping it, adding four generic manaone blue mana that can only be spent to cast spells.
  2. Cast Whim of Volrath with buyback by paying two generic manaone blue mana, targeting Chakram Retriever.
  3. Chakram Retriever triggers, causing you to untap the creature with Leyline Immersion attached.
  4. Resolve Whim of Volrath, returning it to your hand.
  5. Repeat.
  6. Once you have infinite mana, you may use Chakram Retriever's ability to untap any other creature(s) you control.
