Steps

  1. Draw a card.
  2. Nadir Kraken triggers, causing you to pay one generic mana to put a +1/+1 counter on it and create a 1/1 Tentacle creature token.
  3. The Tentacle enters the battlefield, triggering Marneus.
  4. Holding priority, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Tentacle, adding one colorless manaone colorless mana.
  5. Resolve the Marneus trigger, causing you to draw a card.
  6. Repeat from step 2.
