Steps

  1. Cast Martyrdom by paying one generic manaone white manaone white mana, targeting Monk Gyatso.
  2. Activate Monk Gyatso by paying zero mana, targeting another nontoken creature you control.
  3. Monk Gyatso triggers, airbending the targeted creature.
  4. Monk Gyatso's ability from step 4 fizzles due to no longer having a legal target.
  5. Cast the creature from exile by paying at most two generic mana.
  6. Animar triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
  7. Repeat from step 2.

Notes

  1. The starting cost can be reduced by up to three generic mana depending on how many +1/+1 counters Animar has on it. The listed cost assumes Animar has no counters on it.

  1. Infinite creature LTB.
