Initial Card State

  1.  All permanents on the battlefield.

Steps

  1. Activate Evereth by sacrificing the creature with persist.
  2. When that creature dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
  3. Thran Vigil triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on that creature.
  4. Remove a +1/+1 counter and a -1/-1 counter from that creature as a state-based action.
  5. Resolve the Evereth ability from step 1.
  6. Repeat.

Notes

  1. If you have a way to kill Evereth and ({1} magic symbol)  ({BR} magic symbol)   available, you can do so after putting a significant amount of +1/+1 counters on it to deal damage to each opponent using its second ability.

  1. Infinite +1/+1 counters on a creature.
  2. Infinite creature ETB.
  3. Infinite creature LTB.
  4. Infinite creature sacrifice triggers.
  5. Infinite damage.
  6. Infinite death triggers.
