Steps

  1. Activate
    Phyrexian Altar
    Phyrexian Altar     by sacrificing the persist creature, adding one mana of any color.
  2. When the persist creature dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
  3. Thran Vigil
    Thran Vigil     triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on the persist creature.
  4. Repeat.

Results

  1. Infinite colored mana.
  2. Infinite death triggers.
  3. Infinite ETB.
  4. Infinite LTB.
  5. Infinite sacrifice triggers.
