Initial Card State

  1.  All permanents on the battlefield (Eirdu as Isilu, Carrier of Twilight and Mindless Automaton without a -1/-1 counter on it).

Steps

  1. Activate Thermopod by sacrificing Mindless Automaton.
  2. When Mindless Automaton dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to its replacement effect.
  3. Repeat.

Notes

  1. As mana allows, you can activate Mindless Automaton's first ability assuming you have a card in hand to bring it back up to two +1/+1 counters. You can then remove those to draw a card, replacing Thermopod in that iteration assuming there's no anthem effects boosting Mindless Automaton's toughness.
