  1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Prickly Pair, adding one colorless manaone colorless mana.
  2. When Prickly Pair dies, Nim Deathmantle triggers, causing you to pay four generic mana to return Prickly Pair from your graveyard to the battlefield and attach Nim Deathmantle to it.
  3. When Prickly Pair enters, it triggers, creating a creature token.
  4. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing a creature token, adding one colorless manaone colorless mana.
  5. Repeat.
