Steps

  1. If able, activate Vivi by paying zero mana, adding at least two generic mana.
  2. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Vivi, adding one colorless manaone colorless mana.
  3. When Vivi dies, Nim Deathmantle triggers, causing you to pay four generic mana to return Vivi from your graveyard to the battlefield, and attach Nim Deathmantle to it.
  4. Repeat.
