Initial Card State

Steps

  1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Rendmaw, adding one colorless manaone colorless mana.
  2. When Rendmaw dies, Nim Deathmantle triggers, causing you to pay four generic mana to return Rendmaw from your graveyard to the battlefield, and attach Nim Deathmantle to it.
  3. When Rendmaw enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing each player to create a tapped 2/2 Bird creature token.
  4. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Bird, adding one colorless manaone colorless mana.
  5. Repeat.
