Initial Card State

Steps

  1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Darksteel Splicer, adding ({C} magic symbol)  ({C} magic symbol)  .
  2. When Darksteel Splicer dies, Nim Deathmantle triggers, causing you to pay ({4} magic symbol)   to return Darksteel Splicer from your graveyard to the battlefield, and attach Nim Deathmantle to it.
  3. When Darksteel Splicer enters the battlefield, it triggers, creating at least one 3/3 Phyrexian Golem artifact creature token.

  5. Repeat.
