Steps

  1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Haunt of the Dead Marshes, adding one colorless manaone colorless mana.
  2. When Haunt of the Dead Marshes dies, Pitiless Plunderer triggers, creating a Treasure token.
  3. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding one black mana.
  4. Activate Haunt of the Dead Marshes by paying two generic manaone black mana, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  5. Repeat.
