Initial Card State

Steps

  1. Activate Eldrazi Displacer by paying two generic manaone colorless mana, blinking Sharuum the Hegemon.
  2. When Sharuum the Hegemon enters the battlefield, it and Monkey Cage trigger.
  3. Resolve the Sharuum the Hegemon trigger, returning any artifact from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  4. Resolve the Monkey Cage trigger, causing you to sacrifice it and create six 2/2 Ape creature tokens.
  5. Activate Ashnod's Altar three times by sacrificing three Apes, adding six one colorless mana.
  6. Activate Eldrazi Displacer by paying two generic manaone colorless mana, blinking Sharuum the Hegemon.
  7. When Sharuum the Hegemon enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Monkey Cage from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  8. Repeat.
